Devil May Cry 5 is apparently coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with a brand new Devil Hunter Edition.
A rating for the game has now surfaced in Taiwan. There has been no official announcement from Capcom, but that could be coming soon.
News about upcoming games often leaks from classifications. Just yesterday, a listing for Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition was spotted – you can find our coverage of that here.
Devil May Cry 5 originally released in 2019. Assuming it is indeed coming to Switch 2, this would be the first time it’s on a Nintendo platform.
The classification unfortunately doesn’t provide insight into what the “Devil Hunter Edition” actually means. It’s unclear if Capcom will be including new content. Worth noting, the title did previously receive a Special Edition which added Vergil as a playable character, Legendary Dark Knight and Turbo modes, and more.
Capcom has arguably been the biggest third-party supporter on Nintendo Switch 2 thus far. After launching on the console with games like Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, it just delivered Resident Evil Requiem on the same day as other platforms and will be doing the same with Pragmata next month.
