Winner: Stockholm Arlanda Airport T5 – Autumn Fashion event


Terminal Five was transformed into a catwalk for the day in October as brands in the airport’s new Marketplace showcased Autumn fashion collections for passing travellers. A wide range of labels took to the runway, catering for all tastes and budgets, combining well-known brands with newcomers that place a strong focus on Swedish and Scandinavian design, such as Newhouse and & Other Stories. Top marks for creating a buzz.

Winner: Chanel duplex – The Shilla Duty Free, Incheon Airport Terminal 2


Expected to serve as a landmark, this double-decker shop certainly has the wow factor. Designed by Peter Marino, an architect and Chanel collaborator, the store blends the brand’s identity with a modern aesthetic. Products are displayed against a white backdrop with black accents reminiscent of Chanel’s packaging, while dedicated areas present everything from ready-to-wear items to fine jewellery, and floor-to-ceiling cabinets showcase iconic items and new releases.
