Diane Kruger Puts a Modern Twist on Her Victorian-Inspired Sheer Lace Minidress

Diane Kruger‘s latest red carpet look combined two very unlikely styles, and it totally worked. The actress put a Victorian twist on the modern naked dress trend while attending the premiere of her HBO series, The Seduction.

Kruger walked the red carpet in a sheer lace minidress from the Erdem Spring 2026 collection that featured a high neckline with a ruffled collar, visible boning, and a cage silhouette with a pannier-style skirt. An inscription was embroidered across her chest with a frayed black thread, while pieces of lace trimming trailed down to the floor.

The actress wore black patent leather heels with matching sheer socks and accessorized with silver and black earrings and chunky diamond and gemstone rings. In terms of glam, Kruger opted for a side-parted low bun, a smoked-out eyeliner, and a subtle pink lip.

Kruger is no stranger to a see-through dress. Just last May, she attended the Cannes Film Festival in a sheer gown that broke the festival’s anti-naked dress rule. The Unknown actress wore a blue sequined Prada gown with a matching floor-length shawl, which she accessorized with diamond hoops and a matching bracelet. Kruger’s blonde hair was slicked back in finger waves accented by a knotted satin headband. Meanwhile, her glam was elegant with a soft brown eyeshadow and mauve lip.

Kruger stars alongside Lucas Bravo, Anamaria Vartolomei, and Vincent Lacoste in the upcoming HBO show, which is prequel to Dangerous Liaisons. The program is set to premiere on HBO November 14, 2025.
