Your guide to fun family outings for movies themed to rabbits, Jesus and big bonnets
Every day is a good day for seeing a movie in Los Angeles. We have an abundance of riches in exhibition experiences, formats, extras and events. Venues from Santa Monica to Santa Ana often bring in speakers and performers to help us appreciate the movie better. Ninety-one music legend Pat Boone is going to be talking about his 1963 noir thriller The Yellow Canary at the Egyptian this weekend and we just go about our business like that’s completely normal. Spoiled is what we are.

Receiving Karie Bible’s Film Radar (get on her list) in my inbox is like a little gift every weekend, with its guide to revival cinemas around Southern California. More recently, I’ve found Revival Hub to also be an excellent resource for screening information, but I still check every theater’s website because there’s always some valuable surprise hiding out at some off-the-radar venue.

Some folks are already talking about taking time off to celebrate Easter, so we wanted to share some ideas for what might be fun family outings for movies themed to rabbits, Jesus and big bonnets this weekend.
