EDWARDS COUNTY FFA AND SCIENCE STUDENTS PLACE SECOND AT ENVIROTHON COMPETITION


Edwards County FFA members, along with high school science students, recently showcased their environmental knowledge at the Envirothon competition held at the Wabash County 4-H Fairgrounds. Envirothon challenges students with five team tests covering Forestry, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils, and a special Issue category.

Edwards County fielded three teams and earned an impressive second place overall as a school. Team members included Kayden Alexander, Aurora Cullison, Karmyn Ducan, Talynn Eaton, Abby Gill, Audrey Greatline, Kylah Lingafelter, Chassis Morris, Brayden Sanford, Hallie Shelton, Carlin St. Ledger, Erik Wallace, Ivory Wayland, and Jackson Weiler.

The teams were coached by Mrs. Lacey Arnold and Mrs. Michelle Wiseman. The students and coaches were commended for their hard work and strong performance in the competition.
