Multi-platinum country artist Ella Langley’s new music video for her hit single “Choosin’ Texas” was filmed at the historic Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth.
The video, co-directed by Langley with Wales Toney and Caylee Robillard, highlights Texas culture through scenes of two-step dancing, live music and rodeo influences tied to the city’s Western heritage.
“When Ella chose Stagecoach Ballroom for this production, it felt like she was bringing a heartbeat back to our dance floor,” said Julia Paur of the Stagecoach Ballroom. “This entire production came together in just two weeks. Working closely with Lukas Lennon, Wales Toney with Whale Tail Music, and the whole community of Fort Worth shows the collaborative spirit of the city.”
Fort Worth’s Stockyards and broader local music scene are also featured as part of the backdrop.
The production includes appearances from several recognizable figures, including Luke Grimes of “Yellowstone” and Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe, as well as country artists like Miranda Lambert and Kaitlin Butts. Rodeo stars, including JB Mauney, also make appearances.
City officials say the project brought economic and creative opportunities to the area, with local film crews involved and Fort Worth hotels hosting cast and production teams. The Stagecoach Ballroom, a longtime dance hall in the city, served as the central filming location.
“We are grateful to have unique locations and a film-friendly community to consistently make the production process seamless and successful,” said Taylor Hardy, the Fort Worth Film Commissioner.
“Choosin’ Texas” premiered on Wednesday across multiple music platforms, including MTV and CMT. The song has performed strongly on country music charts for weeks, with hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.
Langley’s upcoming album, “Dandelion,” is set for release on April 10, and The Stagecoach Ballroom said it will host a “Dandelion” listening party on Friday. Langley is also planning a national tour beginning in May, with a scheduled stop in Fort Worth later this summer.
