Emily in Greece? These are the stunning new locations for Season 6

Emily in Paris is jetting off to another European destination. Filming for season 6 will begin in May, with cast and crew heading to Greece and Monaco.

The popular Netflix hit follows Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), a marketing executive who moves from the US to Paris. In seasons 4 and 5, Emily moved her European adventure to Rome to launch a new branch of the fictional luxury marketing company, Agence Grateau.

Netflix hasn’t released plot details for Season 6 yet, but the Season 5 finale showed Emily leaving her current romantic interest, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), only to receive a hand-written postcard from her former boyfriend, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), inviting her to Greece. Emily in Paris fans will remember that Gabriel left Paris to become a private chef on a yacht.

Meanwhile, back in Paris, Emily’s best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) was having a relationship with Emily’s ex-boyfriend Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), but accepted a proposal from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Nico (Paul Forman), in Venice. Emily asks Mindy whether she still has feelings for Alfie, to which Mindy is speechless.

“By the end of the season, everything really hits the fan: Mindy might be engaged, but there’s still tension with Alfie,” Lily Collins told Netflix’s Tudum. “It’ll be interesting to see how that drama unfolds.”

These are the 15 best Greek Islands to add to your hit list in 2026

Since its launch in 2020, Emily in Paris has consistently been one of Netflix’s strongest-performing global comedy-drama series. Season 5 debuted last year with around 13.5 million views in its first week, and made the top 10 list in 91 countries.

While exact filming locations have yet to be revealed, we can expect to see Emily hitting the sparkling shores of the Aegean – perhaps at Santorini‘s white-washed clusters of cliffside villas against a backdrop of fiery sunsets; or at the influencer-adored luxury beach clubs of Mykonos, which would pair perfectly with the show’s focus on fashion and social media branding. One thing’s for sure: Emily’s going to pack plenty of high-fashion looks to inspire your next Greek island getaway wardrobe.
