Representatives from Estonia, Denmark, Latvia, Greece, and Croatia
Estonia: The Estonian Public Broadcasting ERR announced that in May 2026 they will travel to Vienna with the band Vanilla Ninja and their song Too Epic To Be True. The lineup includes Piret Järvis (vocals and guitar), Lenna Kuurmaa (vocals and guitar), and Katrin Siska (keyboards). The group formed in Tallinn in 2002 and is a laureate of the Eesti Popmuusika Aastaauhinnad. The band already has Eurovision experience: in 2005 they represented Switzerland with the song Cool Vibes and finished eighth in the final. Two members balance the stage with public duties: Piret Järvis works at the Estonian Ministry of Economy, and Katrin Siska has held the position of referent at Tallinn City Hall since 2009.
Denmark: The winner of the national selection Melodi Grand Prix and the ticket to Vienna went to Soren Torpegor Lund. He will perform with the song Før Vi Går Hjem. The artist graduated from the Danish School of Performing Arts and has appeared on major stages since. In 2021 and 2022 he played the lead role Tony in the musical West Side Story – the Danish version of this production at the Copenhagen Opera House. For this he received the Reumert award – Denmark’s theatre prize. In 2023 Soren performed the ballad Lige Her at Melodi Grand Prix. About this year’s song he said:
“There are no pauses in this song because it is made up of one long movement. A night that never ends! This song is like a candy that is both sour and sweet”
Latvia: In the final of the Supernova competition, Atvara won, earning the right to represent the country in Vienna with the song Ēnā. The actress and singer previously participated in the first season of the Latvian The X Factor (X Faktors) in 2017; her popularity rose thanks to her active presence on TikTok, where her single Pie Manis Tveries has millions of views. Atvara has also established herself as a host of the GAMMA music awards, and this summer she gave nine solo concerts with high praise for her live performances.
Greece: Akylas earned the right to represent Greece at Sing For Greece-2026 with the song Ferto. He began his training at the Serres Music School and developed his skills during theatre master classes. After moving to Athens he became known for his viral TikTok covers. In 2024 the performer released the hit single Atelié, after which he earned a reputation as a multicultural artist with a blend of contemporary sound and Greek identity.
Croatia: The winner of Dora 2026 was the group Lelek. According to the plan, in Vienna they will perform with the song Andromeda. Lelek is a Croatian ethnopop band formed in September 2024. Their music blends traditional Croatian motifs with contemporary pop sound, preserving and reinterpreting Slavic cultural heritage. Their debut single Tanani Nani drew audience attention, and last year they placed fourth with the song The Soul of My Soul in the Eurovision selection.
