In just a few days, we will learn the identities of the 28 contestants of Sing for Greece 2026, the national final through which the artist who will represent Greece at Eurovision 2026 will be selected. While we already know that on Sunday, January 4, during a special broadcast hosted by Betty Maggira, the names of the 28 contestants will be announced and excerpts from their songs will be aired, it had not yet been clarified when we would hear the full versions of the songs.
According to exclusive and reliable information, although everyone expected that immediately after the end of the broadcast the 28 songs would be made available—as was the case last year—via Ertecho and ERT’s YouTube channel, this year it was decided to do something different.
In the coming days, the contestants will, under the supervision of ERT, film 28 similar music videos. These videos will all be presented together during a program dedicated to Eurovision, hosted by Kelly Vranaki. After being aired on the show, the music videos will of course be released to the public through all of ERT’s platforms and channels.
All of the above is not expected to cause delays and is anticipated to be implemented within the next few weeks.
ERT’s focus, as you can understand, is now on the announcement of the 28 contestants this coming Sunday, January 4, at 19:00, on ERT1, with Betty Maggira as host. In addition to the names of the finalists, we will also hear a short excerpt from each song, no longer than one minute.
