Express TCG opens 2nd location in Harlem

HARLEM, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A local gaming store has opened a second location in Harlem, offering players a chance to play their favorite games in person.

Express TCG opened its new store at 710 Point Bluff Parkway, focusing on community-driven gaming and collectibles.

“We are a community-driven game and collectible store. We have a big emphasis on players and the collectors themselves,” said Chance Turner, Harlem store manager for Express TCG.

Games for all interests

The store carries games ranging from classics to newer trends, including some games customers may not have heard of before.

“Just give people a place to hangout because we know there’s a lot of different outlets for people to express themselves,” said Meredith Wilcox, marketing and social media manager for Express TCG.

Events and tournaments

The store plans to host events nearly every night, with tables full of players for different games.

“Magic, Pokemon, Digimon, Tabletop RPGs,” Turner said. “We will also be hosting regional championships, tournaments, all those kinds of things.”

The store’s focus is bringing people together and building community alongside building game decks.

“People are so willing to talk about their passions and their hobbies here which is my favorite part about the store,” Wilcox said.

The community extends beyond Harlem, with some customers traveling from other cities.

“We have people that will drive in from Columbia just to hang out and do our events with us because they love the sense of community we have, that we’ve cultivated here,” Wilcox said.

Express TCG is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
