Fashion reigns supreme at music festival – Press Enterprise
The Coachella Music and Arts Festival returns to the Empire Polo Field in Indio for its 25th year and with it 25 years of festival fashion.
As has been the trend in recent years, festival goers are leaning into “Chillchella” vibes by wearing comfy clothes. This mindset was especially present on day one as the high for the day was 91°. Boho vibes from 2016 have also made their return with knit cardigans, flowy dresses and even flower crowns.
But influencer culture also brought Instagram worthy outfits that you’ll only find during Coachella. One of the most important elements in crafting the perfect festival fashion pic is posing next to the various art installations throughout the festival grounds. This year saw new additions of Starry Eyes, Visage Brut and Maze as well as the return of Spectra and the Balloon Chain.
