Foodie Media expands into digital gaming content with WTM Media alliance


Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Good Foodie Media Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Foodie Media Berhad, has entered into a strategic collaboration with WTM Media Sdn Bhd to co-develop and commercialise digital and esports-focused media content.

Foodie Media, a Malaysia-headquartered digital media group with a combined follower base focused on lifestyle content, said the collaboration marks its strategic entry into the e-sports and gaming content segment. The sector has been driven by audience engagement, advertiser demand, and sustained digital consumption trends.

The collaboration will run for an initial one-year term, with an option for extension subject to mutual agreement.

Under the arrangement, Foodie Media will combine its commercial scale, advertiser relationships, and regional market access with WTM Media’s expertise in e-sports culture, creative execution, and platform-native storytelling. 

Both parties aim to develop a digital media offering focused on long-term growth, while exploring new content formats and monetisation opportunities across brand partnerships, sponsorships, and integrated digital campaigns within the e-sports and gaming landscape.

Foodie Media said it sees long-term potential in WTM Media’s vision, talent, and content direction. The company will provide strategic guidance, market insights, and business development expertise to support WTM Media’s expansion efforts.
