Geneva Bar and Grill will have a New Year’s Day bingo starting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the bar. There will be Tom and Jerry cocktails served until gone.
Come by the bar on Friday as well and enjoy live music by Papa J from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

New Year’s Eve party, races and raffles event
There will be a special New Year’s Eve party starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartland University Bar. There will be karaoke and music provided by DJ DYL.
On Thursday, the Hartland Fire Department will have meat raffles and pull tab races at 2 p.m. at the bar. Proceeds will benefit the fire department and donations to other causes.

Live music
Ron & Steve Unplugged will have live music from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday in the lounge of the Albert Lea American Legion Post 56. According to the Legion’s Facebook page, Ron Budrik and Steve Boyken have been touring the upper Midwest with their ’80s tribute act, which blends acoustic style classic rock and pop hits.
