From Greece to Thailand, Here’s Where Hilton is Opening and Renovating This Season

From sun‑soaked coastlines to fast‑growing global cities, this quarter Hilton is entering new markets and expanding its presence in places travelers are eager to explore. Hilton is set to see expansive growth in Greece, with the opening of four hotels this season across Athens, Corfu, Santorini and Crete which marks a major moment for the company in one of Europe’s most in‑demand destinations. In the last five years, Hilton has grown its presence in Greece from one hotel to more than 50 hotels, with a further 20 under development.  

In APAC, Hilton builds on its expansion of its lifestyle portfolio in South East Asia with three new hotels in Thailand, including the first Canopy by Hilton in the market. Beyond Greece and Thailand, Hilton continues to broaden its global footprint with brand debuts, including Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Kenya, LXR Hotels & Resorts in India and Spark by Hilton in Saudi Arabia. And in renovation news, Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus – a legendary destination that’s welcomed royalty, celebrities, and global icons since 1955 – will unveil a stunning renovation and introduce a collection of standout dining experiences.  

As travelers look to visit the newest hotels in Hilton’s portfolio, Hilton Honors members can earn 2,000 Bonus Points per stay through April 30. Here’s a look at what’s opening and renovating across Hilton’s portfolio in Q2 2026.

New Openings

Anticipated Opening Date: Spring 2026

Set to open in Spring 2026, Conrad Athens The Ilisian is set to become one of the Greek capital’s most significant new luxury destinations, introducing a new way to experience modern Athens. The hotel offers 307 spacious rooms and suites, many with balconies and views across the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill and the sea, alongside a collection of signature suites including a penthouse with a private pool. Guests will have access to one of Athens’ most extensive wellness offerings, featuring over 2,000 square metres of indoor facilities, a longevity clinic, indoor and outdoor pools, and a rooftop running track. Set on a secluded stretch in the southern part of Corfu, Greece, Conrad Corfu is a beachfront resort blending refined indulgence with a deep connection to nature and culture. With 136 rooms, suites, and villas – most featuring private pools or jacuzzies, guests can unwind in vibrant gardens, enjoy curated wellness experiences at the Conrad Spa, open-air cinema evenings and imaginative family moments at the Kids’ Club, set among olive and eucalyptus trees. Perched above Kamari’s black-sand shoreline, Sandblu Santorini, LXR Hotels & Resorts is a serene new luxury retreat offering a quieter, more intimate perspective on the island. The 66-room resort blends Cycladic design with contemporary elegance, featuring rooms, suites and private villas, many with their own pools, designed to reflect Santorini’s volcanic landscape and the Aegean horizon. The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida is expected to be rebranded as Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in 2026, following a transformation.  Perfectly located on a barrier island between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, the iconic beachfront resort is a centerpiece of South Florida.  The comprehensive renovation embraces Signia’s sophisticated style and genuine hospitality, bringing a refreshed vision to one of Florida’s premier destinations. From the grand atrium and sophistication of Club Signia to the new Infinity Pool deck, poolside cabanas, beach club, top-rated spa, and curated cuisine within tropical-inspired destinations, every detail has been designed for connection and comfort.

AVA Hotel Nairobi, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Anticipated Opening Date: April 2026

Located in Nairobi’s upscale suburb Lavington, AVA Hotel Nairobi, Tapestry Collection by Hilton marks the debut of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand in Kenya. The lifestyle hotel will feature 90 thoughtfully designed guest rooms, alongside a rooftop bar and restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and flexible meeting and business facilities. Surrounded by shopping malls and gourmet dining, the hotel is well positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers visiting Nairobi.

From its beaches, state parks and shipwreck diving sites, the Outer Banks in North Carolina attract visitors year after year as a treasured vacation destination. As the first Home2 Suites by Hilton property in the market, this beachfront property will welcome guests and their pets to spacious, flexible suites, free hot breakfast every morning and outdoor space to enjoy the local surroundings.

Set to open in the picturesque Twuriba area, the 306-room resort is conveniently located 15 to 25 minutes away from both Miyako and Shimojishima airports in Japan. Rising above the vibrant City Centre 4 building in Surrey, Canada, the new Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey redefines upscale and comfort with 189 spacious suites across the top nine floors from levels 17 to 25. Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton debuted in February as a newly reimagined retreat in the heart of California wine country. Ka La‘i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts is completing a comprehensive, design-led transformation that will culminate in June 2026, marking the first full redesign of the landmark luxury property. Led by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, the renovation touches every aspect of the resort, from the hotel’s 462 guest rooms and residential-style suites to reimagined arrival spaces, pool deck, and common areas, along with the introduction of new dining concepts and an enhanced spa experience. All guest rooms and suites will debut fully redesigned and ready for stays beginning April 2026, while the resort’s new signature restaurant, lobby bar, and refreshed spa will open to guests in June 2026, completing the next chapter for this contemporary Hawaiian landmark in the heart of Waikiki.

Following a comprehensive renovation that included fully refreshed guest rooms, reimagined public spaces, and enhanced dining venues, Hilton Cleveland Downtown now offers an even more modern, welcoming experience throughout, with all 600 guest rooms updated and the lobby, Eliot’s Bar, and first‑floor coffee bar revitalized with new finishes and expanded food and beverage offerings. Building on the transformation, the hotel will debut The Club at Hilton later this spring. This premium club will offer guests an elevated place to meet, focus, relax and refuel featuring self‑service premium dining from breakfast through evening, a curated full‑service beverage program, barista‑crafted coffee and thoughtfully designed spaces for quiet work or collaborative conversation.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet to debut ‘piebird’

Expected Opening: April 2026

DoubleTree by Hilton will officially debut piebird at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet in Nanuet, New York in April, marking the brand’s first rollout of its nostalgia-driven restaurant and bar concept built around classic American comfort dishes and all-day diner staples. Developed by Hilton’s in-house F&B innovation studio, StiR Creative Collective, to complement DoubleTree’s welcoming hospitality and capture the warmth of a home-cooked meal, the menu centers on classic American comfort dishes and all-day diner staples. This includes a rotating selection of seasonal pies, alongside savory mains such as Chicken Pot Pie, Knife and Fork Caesar and Biscuits and Gravy, as well as breakfast-forward offerings such as Monkey Bread French Toast and piebird quiche. The Cookie Martini, a cocktail inspired by DoubleTree’s iconic chocolate chip cookie is also available as a drink signature.

• Hilton opened its largest DoubleTree by Hilton in India, DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, with 304 rooms and 9,000 square feet of meeting space. This is the first hotel to open in Aerospace Park, catering to the demand from corporate travelers, aviation-linked businesses and transit-led stays.

• Two new properties opened in Makkah – DoubleTree by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah, bringing the brand’s signature warm welcome to the Al Aziziyah district, and Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking both the brand’s debut in Makkah and the largest Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel worldwide, with 1,386 rooms.

• Cameo Beverly Hills, LXR Hotels & Resorts debuted in January with redesigned guest rooms and suites, a new signature Peruvian restaurant, refreshed pool experience, and a 360-degree view event space.

• Hotel Heron Alexandria Old Town joined the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio. The 134-room hotel is home to Good Fortune, the only rooftop experience in Alexandria, Virginia with unobstructed views of the Potomac.

• Hilton Hotels & Resorts opened its first golf resort in South East Asia with the opening of Hilton Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort & Spa. The hotel features more than 1,200 square meters of flexible meeting space – including two ballrooms – and leisure facilities including a spa, outdoor swimming pool and dedicated Kids’ Club.

• Hilton entered Rwanda with the opening of the 80-room Zaria Court Kigali, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Located in the heart of Kigali Sports City, the hotel features a heated pool, rooftop lounge, lobby bar and more.

• Motto by Hilton Nashville Downtown opened with its signature Confirmed Connecting Room capabilities and the option to link up to six rooms together. Located just three blocks south of Broadway, the hotel features an all-day restaurant, coffee shop, bar and more.

• Hilton opened three hotels on Oman’s iconic coastline, with Al Husn Hotel Muscat, Hilton Muscat Al Bandar, and DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha welcoming guests beginning in January. Nestled between the cliffs of Al Jissah and the Gulf of Oman, the properties offer a blend of family-friendly options, vibrant event spaces, and elevated luxury experiences.

• Hilton debuted its first onsen resort in South East Asia with Hilton Quang Hanh Onsen. The resort offers 178 villas and 38 rooms and is situated near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The resort brings together private onsen experiences in every room, mineral-rich hot springs and modern Japanese dining for a wellness-led stay.

• Hilton debuted the first Junction Café & Provisions at Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Junction represents the newest all‑day dining concept from Hilton’s StiR Creative Collective, offering guests curated retail provisions and a space for connectivity.
