The Lakers face the Knicks in one of four nationally televised NBA games today.

NBA fans looking for big-time game action on TV Sunday, March 8, will have four games to watch on national television, plus another six on the NBA live streaming service, League Pass. The four nationally televised games will also be available to watch via live streaming for viewers who prefer to watch on a mobile device.

The day of televised NBA games tips off with the Boston Celtics traveling to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers. The game is a crucial one in the Eastern Conference race for playoff seeding, with Boston coming in holding second place in the East with a 42-21 record. The Cavaliers sit just three games behind the Celtics at 39-24, in fourth place.

But the Celtics vs. Cavaliers game is just as notable for the return of Boston’s four-time All-NBA First Team selection Jayson Tatum. The game in Cleveland will be Tatum’s second game, and first on the road, since a remarkably quick return from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered in a playoff game on May 12 last year.

After missing the first 62 games of the Celtics’ season, Tatum played his first game on Friday night, scoring 15 with 12 rebounds and seven assists in 27 minutes against the Dallas Mavericks.
