Fashion month came to an end with the conclusion of Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. Amid the nonstop parades and presentations, boots were seen again and again as the fall footwear classic was reinterpreted by a range of brands.
FN looked back at the boots showcased in Milan and Paris over the past few weeks to identify the standout boot trends for fall 2026. Find the prominent themes rounded up below, with brands ranging from Paris Texas to Chanel to Prada.

Statement-making furry styles are back for the fall, according to a few different brands. Duha, the eponymous brand founded by Duha Fukadi, showcased a black heeled boot with a furry foldover shaft, giving the style a voluminous, winter-ready flair.
Winter volume was deemed in style for Casadei as well, as the brand showed a brown boot featuring an allover furry shaft. Paris Texas also took on the animal-hair look and blended it with reptilian inspiration, presenting a chocolate croc-embossed pointed stiletto boot with black-tinged beige fur embellishing the top of the shaft.
Biker Boots

Several brands brought a biker edge to the runways. Amid a flurry of delicate, floral-adorned heels, Nina Christen and Jonathan Anderson at Dior offered variety to their footwear lineup with a brown suede moto boot featuring gold detailing, including the brand name across a strap.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Choo and Balenciaga went in the classic black leather direction with various degrees of slouching adding a textural element to the boots.
Reptilian Boots

Within the animal-inspired realm, there were also several reptilian boots on display this fashion month. Hagelstam and Gucci, for example, both did croc-embossed pointed boots, with the former showing a deep brown bootie with a modest sculpted heel and the latter showcasing a knee-high black boot with a soaring stiletto heel.
Giaborghini, meanwhile, embraced a more vibrant and colorful print with yellow-snake effect boots featuring a heel and a rounded square toe.
Embellished Boots

Multiple labels decided to get playful with embellishment. Over at Roger Vivier, creative director Gherardo Felloni did velvet boots embroidered with sequins and beads, saying, “Cuissardes are the most protective part of the collection. They are sexy but at the same time, day boots, so you can protect yourself.”
In another instance, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons turned heads with striking knee-high boots covered all over with baby blue feathers, a color complemented by yellow laces running up the shoes.
Thigh-high Boots

Over-the-knee boots proved to be quite popular as well. Even the simplest thigh-high boot is striking due to its sheer size, and brands took the look further with a range of designs. Some had a fitted second-skin look, like the cap-toe Chanel boots presented by Matthieu Blazy and the black velvet heels with a sculptural bird-claw-inspired heel presented by Daniel Roseberry.
Additionally, Gianvito Rossi had a vibrant animal print stiletto over-the-knee boot among its styles. Giuseppe Zanotti and Aquazzura, meanwhile, both made black suede boots with sharp heels and pointed toes, made unique with a bow detail for the former and a scalloped design with teardrop cutouts down the back for the latter.
