
The steady course of bookings from the German market to Greece was confirmed during the recent Campus Lounge Roadshow “Sea and Sun,” focusing on summer holiday options in southern Europe and the Mediterranean, organized in selected German cities by the tour operator DERTOUR, with the participation of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
According to the relevant announcement, representatives of hotels from Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain and Portugal, as well as the Egyptian Tourism Authority, took part in the roadshow.
The German office of the GNTO participated in the events held in Magdeburg and Hamburg, where more than 45 travel agencies per city were present.
Nikoleta Lekanidi, head of the GNTO office in Germany, briefed attending agents on Greece’s comparative advantages and its diverse tourism offerings, which ensure safe, year-round holidays filled with unique experiences.
Additionally, she highlighted the continuous expansion of flight connectivity to Greek destinations and the rise of emerging travel locales.
