The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece edged down to 8.6% in October 2025 from an upwardly revised 8.7% in the previous month.
The number of unemployed individuals rose by 1 thousand from a month earlier to 411.4 thousand, with unemployment among women remaining significantly higher than among men at 11% compared to 6.7%.
Meanwhile, employment increased by 20.6 thousand to 4.3 million, and the number of people outside the labor force, those under the age of 75 who neither work nor seek employment, fell by 24.2 thousand to 2.982 million.
