Greece Launches TikTok, YouTube Campaign Targeting 19 Million Users

Greece is launching a new international campaign on TikTok and YouTube to promote its diverse tourism offerings to more than 19 million users in France, Denmark, the UK, Germany and Sweden.

Under the motto “Real influence – Real people – Real scale”, the campaign will kick off on April 1 as part of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s (GNTO) strategy to position Greece as a modern, sustainable destination through authentic, experiential storytelling.

Running from April to June, the initiative relies on original content created by YouTube and TikTok influencers, selected for their appeal to audiences interested in Greece and their alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and the VisitGreece.gr ecosystem.

According to the GNTO, the campaign aims to maintain Greece’s position as a top-of-mind holiday destination for spring and summer 2026, while strengthening the public’s emotional connection with the “Greece” brand.

At the same time, it places strong emphasis on balanced tourism development, highlighting lesser-known Greek destinations and promoting city breaks and activity-based tourism throughout the year. The effort also supports the country’s positioning as a sustainable and inclusive destination.

By leveraging the latest technology and the growing influence of digital creators in shaping travel trends, the campaign is expected to enhance Greece’s appeal and further boost tourism demand during the peak booking period.
