Greece is removing its embassy in Tehran to Baku in Azerbaijan due to the deteriorating security situation in the Iranian capital amid the US and Israeli attacks, state ERT television reported Thursday.
ERT quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying the operation is under way.
It said there are no requests so far from Greek nationals to be repatriated from Iran, as most of the Greeks there are embassy employees and their relatives.
