Greece PD partners with retailers to crack down on holiday shoplifters


Greece, N.Y. – Throughout the holiday weekend, the Greece Police Department partnered with retail stores to help prevent shoplifting.

Officers patrolled retail locations on Mt. Read Blvd, Dewey Avenue, and across West Ridge Road, and took several people into custody.

The arrested individuals include:

42-year-old Jose Agosto Santiago

  • Allegedly concealed $213.16 in Home Depot merchandise and fled.
  • Taken into custody after a brief struggle.
  • Previously trespassed from the same Home Depot.
  • Charged with burglary and resisting arrest.
  • Due to a prior felony conviction, transported to the CAP Court for arraignment.

41-year-old Natrice Lane

  • Allegedly entered the Mall after being banned for life.
  • Charged with criminal trespass.

46-year-old Delmar Daniels

  • Allegedly entered the Mall after being banned for life.
  • Charged with criminal trespass.

62-year-old Keveral Young

  • Allegedly entered the Mall and obstructed officers during the investigation.
  • Charged with criminal trespass and obstructing governmental administration.

15-year-old teenager

  • Allegedly concealed $14.99 cologne.
  • During the arrest, officers located a loaded 9mm ghost gun in her jacket.
  • Charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
  • Arraigned in Family Court.
