Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the declined 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the were Viohalco SA (AT:), which rose 6.30% or 0.88 points to trade at 14.84 at the close. BriQ Properties REIC (AT:) added 4.78% or 0.14 points to end at 3.07 and Fourlis Hld (AT:) was up 4.65% or 0.20 points to 4.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Organization of Football Prognostics SA (AT:), which lost 4.36% or 0.71 points to trade at 15.59 in late trade. Profile Syst (AT:) declined 4.17% or 0.30 points to end at 6.90 and National Bank of Greece SA (AT:) shed 4.16% or 0.60 points to 13.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.10% or 57.51 to $5,168.09 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.69% or 0.46 to hit $65.85 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.49% or 0.35 to trade at $70.76 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.18, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.32% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 97.80.
