Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Ellaktor SA (AT:), which rose 8.35% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Metlen Energy & Metals (AT:) added 5.25% or 1.84 points to end at 36.90 and Ideal Group SA (AT:) was up 4.50% or 0.26 points to 6.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qualco Group SA (AT:), which fell 1.77% or 0.10 points to trade at 5.56 at the close. Coca Cola HBC AG (AT:) declined 1.72% or 0.95 points to end at 54.40 and Dimand Societe Anonyme for Real Estate Constructions (AT:) was down 1.67% or 0.20 points to 11.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 54 and 14 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.79% or 40.94 to $5,217.24 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.32% or 0.21 to hit $65.42 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.01% or 0.01 to trade at $70.59 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.18, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.03% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.68.
