Greece to deploy missile systems on Aegean islands

Greece will deploy hundreds, perhaps thousands, of mobile missile systems on the islands to “close the Aegean Sea from land,” “Türkiye Today” writes, citing Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias.

Dendias said that five types of missile systems will be deployed on the Aegean islands and the Turkish-Greek border as part of the new “Achilles Shield” project, which will allow covering both sea and airspace.
