Greece’s Astypalaia has been crowned the world’s top destination for 2026, landing the No. 1 spot on The Guardian‘s annual list of the fifty best travel ideas of the year.
This distinction also places Astypalaia ahead of a diverse lineup of global hotspots across Europe and beyond, from Italy and France to Morocco and Turkey.
