If you heard the sound of whooping and hollering around North Texas tonight, it was because there were a lot of very happy people with fundraising goals. They were all attending a couple of patron parties for upcoming events.
First, there was the Equest Blue Ribbon Gala patron party at Connie and Marc Sigel’s home. Gala Co-Chairs Melinda and Mark Knowles reported that just one table is remaining and only a few individual tickets are available for the partying at Gilley’s on Saturday, April 25. In other words, buy now for the night of dining and dancing to fundraise for Equest before it sells out.

The great thing about the Equest Blue Ribbon Gala is there’s no need to haul out that tuxedo or try to balance on those stiletto heels. It’s strictly jeans, boots, turquoise and fringe. Here’s a link to those few remaining spots. Hustle to it, y’all.
Just down the road from the Sigels’ home-sweet-home is where the ever-fashionable set gathered for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League’s Fashion Notes patron party. Gee, the DSOL-ers love a get-together.
Only this time the gathering is in a jewel box, so to speak — deBoulle. 2026 Fashion Notes LimonCello Co-Chairs Meredith Allen Connally, Amy Green and Elizabeth St. Marie and DSOL President Claire Catrino were high-fiving their manicured hands over the fact that “the event is nearing a sellout.” There are a few tables left. But once those are gone, there’s only the wait-and-pray list.

Needless to say, the luncheon and fashion show on Wednesday, April 29, at the Meyerson will be this side of splendiferous thanks to Fashion Design Awardee Mackenzie Brittingham.

What remaining tickets can be had here at last look.
No wonder patrons at the Sigels and deBoulle were sounding so triumphant. After all, they already have their places locked down.
