For the 2002 Oscars, Paltrow wore an Alexander McQueen ballgown. “There were a few issues; I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less makeup,” she later shared. “Then, it would have worked as I wanted it to – a little bit of punk at the Oscars.”

2011
At the 2011 Oscars, Paltrow performed “Coming Home” from her film Country Strong; on the red carpet, she wore a gown from Calvin Klein Collection and Louis Vuitton jewelry.

She chose a white, caped Tom Ford gown (and Anna Hu jewelry) at the 2012 Oscars.
“I think putting Gwyneth in that white, caped Tom Ford gown for the 2012 Oscars really made a huge impact on the fashion industry,” her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman later said. “It was the first time people saw Tom Ford’s eponymous line. Before that moment, red-carpet dressing was all about tulle, sparkles and diamonds – that clean, minimalist silhouette was totally new, and I think we’re still feeling the ripple effects from that look.”
2015
In 2015, she wore a pale pink Ralph & Russo gown and Anna Hu jewelry.
