The course involved learning about the technical aspects of writing a journalistic piece and then writing a piece using interview transcripts and other materials provided to us. Since we were not required to conduct the interviews ourselves, it made the experience more approachable and allowed us to focus on utilizing the materials and writing a compelling story.
