The gist
Harmony will add nearly 80,000 square feet to its campus in the City Place master-planned community to serve approximately 850 middle and high school students, said Sally Magnuson, Harmony Public Schools communications director for the Houston North District.
A Feb. 4 project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows construction is scheduled to begin April 15 and wrap up by mid-August 2027.
The single-story campus will include a multi-purpose sports field, engineering and robotics labs and a large cafeteria with a performance stage, Magnuson told Community Impact.
Looking back
Harmony Science Academy opened its City Place elementary campus Nov. 13, which serves students in pre-K through sixth grade, Community Impact previously reported. Magnuson said the City Place reflects Harmony’s new model bringing K-12 students together in one campus community.
She said one of the key benefits of the consolidated campus is convenience for families, simplifying daily routines for parents and keeping siblings together.
