After being ruled out on Friday, Atlanta Hawks forward Jonathan Kuminga is expected to be ready for his first game against the Golden State Warriors.
Just a month and a half after the Golden State Warriors traded Jonathan Kuminga to the Atlanta Hawks at the NBA trade deadline, the forward has a chance to play his former team for the first time on Saturday.
Kuminga, 23, picked up a new left knee issue and won’t be active for the Hawks on Friday in their matchup against the Houston Rockets. However, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reported that Kuminga is expected to suit up for Atlanta’s matchup against his former team, the Golden State Warriors.
This is “barring a last-minute change,” the insider wrote.
