HEAT SIGN TREVOR KEELS TO TWO-WAY CONTRACT


Your Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed guard Trevor Keels to a Two-Way Contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Keels, who was originally signed by the HEAT on September 11, has started in all 22 regular season games he has appeared in with the HEAT’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, this season and averaged 20.3 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.14 steals and 34.4 minutes while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from three-point range and 74.3 percent from the foul line. He leads the team in points, field goals made, three-point field goals made, minutes, starts and games played. He has posted 11 20-point games, two 30-point games and recorded a career-high 46-point performance on January 9 vs. the Rip City Remix. In that game, he shot a perfect 12-of-12 from three-point range, setting the G League record for the most makes without a miss in a single game. His 46 points are also the most points scored in a G League game this season and his 88.9 percent shooting in the game stands as the highest field goal percentage in G League history in a 45-point game. Additionally, he was named the G League player of the Week and was originally drafted in the second round (42nd overall) by New York in the 2022 NBA Draft.
