Here Are 4 Science Experiments Done Aboard Orion During Historic Lunar Flyby Mission

The crew managed to capture some of the most historic lunar flyby images during the mission, including craters, ancient lava flows, etc. One of the unnamed craters was named Carroll after the late wife’s name of Reid Wiseman. The crew also captured earthrise, earthset, and a total solar eclipse during their record-breaking mission to the far side of the moon.  These visual datas will be studied by not just NASA but researchers across the globe.
