PTA for NYE, XOXO.

They say how you spend New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day is how you’ll spend the rest of the year. So if you attended Este Haim’s NYE wedding to tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin, and the movie marathon afterparty, 2026 is going to be pretty tight. Paul Thomas Anderson curated a 16-hour, 33mm film fest at the Ojai Playhouse after the Haim-Levin nuptials. Page Six got a copy of the program, and it was a doozy. Things kicked off bright and early with a 9:00 a.m. screening of Repo Man, the perfect way to treat a post-wedding hangover. Then it was Casablanca and a break for lunch. At 1:30 p.m. the afternoon sesh began with Barry Lyndon. At 5:00 p.m. came Casino, then The Birdcage at 8:30 p.m. Finally, Father of the Bride was chosen as the evening’s capper. R.I.P. Diane Keaton. Sadly omitted from the festivities was PTA’s contribution to the New Year’s canon, Phantom Thread. What better way to inaugurate a marriage than that story of true, abiding romance?
Cinephile Taylor Swift did not stay for the movie marathon. She attended the wedding on NYE, but jetted to Kansas City for New Year’s Day. But some of the folks that did reportedly take in all Da Movies included PTA’s partner Maya Rudolph, Donald Glover, Kesha, composer Ludwig Göransson, and the Haim sisses, natch.
