Pokemon Z-A bundle is sold out but Mario Kart World is still available
As of this writing it looks like the Pokemon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 bundle is sold out. You might get lucky with GameStop which is still showing the bundle potentially available for pickup but you need to check inventory.
However, the Nintendo Switch 2 bundle featuring Mario Kart World is widely available across retailers. Mario Kart isn’t Pokemon but is a great racing great than really shakes up the formula.
Protect your Switch 2 with this traveling case
Surprisingly, Best Buy doesn’t have many Nintendo Switch 2 deals right now but there are a few savings to be had.
Right now, you can pick up an RDS Industries case for $24.99, $5 off the normal price. It’s a pretty good case that can hold up to 12 game cards and microSD cards. Plus it has slots where you can put a Pro 2 controller doc, or Joy-Con 2 rails. There is also a section for the charging cord and plug.
This Star Wars game shines on Nintendo Switch 2, and right now it’s on sale for $30
“Star Wars: Outlaws” is a game that I told myself I’d play once the price came down, so I’m stoked to see this title on sale for 50% as part of Amazon’s Black Friday sales event. It’s one of the steepest discounts I’ve seen on a relatively new title, and it’s a great candidate if you’re looking to test out Switch 2 hardware.
Save while you can on storage
Look, I get it: Shelling out for MicroSD cards is one of the least-exciting ways to spend money on Black Friday. Heck, I’m not thrilled about it, but I’m putting one of these things into my cart right now. If I don’t, I’ll end up annoyed at myself for not doing it when the price was at its lowest.
This card is capable of speeds of up to 800 MB/s, which makes it the perfect fit for gaming on the Switch. It’s wrapped up with a three-year, limited warranty.

- BRONAL Switch 2 Controller Grip – 2000mAh Rechargeable Battery: was $20 now $14
Premium Switch 2 travel case for just $21? Yes please!
Everyone who owns a Switch 2 and takes it on the go needs a great travel case to protect their console. One of the best picks out there, the Belkin Nintendo Switch 2 Case, just so happens to be discounted from $29 to $21 (including the clipped coupon on Amazon) for Black Friday deals. But not only does this case keep your Switch 2 protected, it also holds up to 12 physical game cards and has a hidden AirTag pocket for extra peace of mind.
A new take on a retro controller, now at an all-time low
CRKD might be known for its Nitro Deck and Nitro Deck+ joy-con alternatives for the original Switch but the company also makes a fantastic retro-style controller. The CRKD NEO S feels like an old-school gamepad but with a modern twist. Not only is it wider than a SNES controller but there are also two remappable buttons on the back.

Go on a galactic adventure with this bumper Super Mario deal!
Right now, the Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Switch is down to just $59 at Walmart. You’re getting two fantastic games in this deal. In Super Mario Galaxy, join Rosalina and the Lumas to restore the Comet Observatory and rescue Princess Peach, using power-ups like the Bee and Boo Mushrooms.
In the sequel, team up with Yoshi and Lubba aboard Starship Mario, using Yoshi’s unique abilities and power-ups like the Dash Pepper and Blimp Fruit! There’s also additional content to be enjoyed, including new Storybook chapters, additional music, and an Assist Mode for extra health and fall recovery.
Switch 2’s first new Zelda game is a winner!
While not on sale (considering it only just came out), Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a fantastic game, and one you should keep an eye on should it get a price cut. Our Senior Entertainment Editor, Rory, dubbed it “one of [his] biggest gaming surprises of 2025.”
He noted that the game runs extremely well on the Switch 2, and it features callbacks to previous entries in the hit franchise. The menu design is cribbed straight from TOTK, and when you pick up a new item, the iconic Zelda chime plays. It all helps to make you feel like you’re playing a brand new Zelda title, rather than a soulless spin-off!
Two other Zelda games are currently discounted if you fancy picking one up: Link’s Awakening (was $59, now $52), and Echoes of Wisdom (was $59, now $53).
A purr-fect game for cat lovers
Stray is a fantastic game and it runs well on both the OG Switch and the Switch 2. We gave it 4-stars in our review, stating that it shouldn’t dismissed as “merely a cat stimulator, as this adventure game will appeal to more than just feline fanatics.” The game is set in a dystopian, cyberpunk-like world and it’s highly detailed.
You encounter robots who become your allies, and you can scratch on different surfaces (like a real cat) and even push things off heights (again, like a real cat). Having finished the game a few times, I have to say, it will make you cry. Right now, it’s 30% off at Amazon!
What game would you like to see ported to the Switch 2?
We’ve seen some great games ported to the Nintendo Switch 2, including (but not limited to) Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Hogwarts Legacy, and more. But are there any games you wish got ported to the handheld wonder? Personally, I would love to see Baldur’s Gate 3 on the Switch 2. Because the Switch 2 has a Mouse Mode, it would make playing the turn-based RPG much easier, and I would love to travel with my party.
I believe the Switch 2 could run Baldur’s Gate 3 well too, considering that Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t awful or unplayable, running at a solid 40fps. The Switch 2 is also a beast for co-op, so playing Baldur’s Gate 3 online or in couch co-op mode shouldn’t be an issue. Who knows what the future holds!
Just picked up a Switch 2? Let us show you how to set it up
If you picked up a Nintendo Switch 2 and need help setting up, fret not; we’ve got you covered. Setting it up is super easy and doesn’t take long. All you need is a Switch 2 (of course) and a reliable internet connection.
Simply follow the steps on-screen, select your region and language, agree to the terms and conditions, connect to the internet, choose whether you want to transfer data from your old Switch, add users, sign into your Nintendo account, and you’re done! The steps are detailed in our tutorial here.
Upgrade your setup with the 5-star rated headset
We gave the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 a full 5-star rating in our review. That’s pretty rare. Our reviewer Nikita loves its comfortable design that’s easy to wear for hours; it’s excellent sound quality; its easy to use companion software; and its long battery life.
So yeah, even at full price we’d recommend this headset. This is Black Friday, though, and that means you don’t need to pay full price. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 is currently $45 off at Amazon — a huge saving of 30%.
What you gonna do without storage?
If you’re on a game-buying spree this Black Friday, you’re going to need storage. Thankfully, this 512GB Samsung P9 Express MicroSD is currently on sale for just $74 at Amazon, which is the lowest price we’ve ever seen it drop.
This MicroSD card boasts up to 800Mb/s read/write speeds, making it ideal for use when gaming. You can also pick up the 256GB model for just $47.
The GameSir Cyclone 2 is still on sale!
“This $49 TMR controller is all you need to elevate your gaming experience” is how we summed up the GameSir Cyclone 2 in our review. This magnetic controller features customizable magnetic thumbsticks (meaning no stick drift) and triggers, making it perfect for a wide variety of games.
Better yet, it’s super affordable. And even more so now. You can get the GameSir Cyclone 2 for $44 at Amazon. That’s 20% off!
This one’s for the basketball fans
The latest entry in the annual NBA 2K series has entered the court, and it’s once again the most polished and authentic way to play basketball from the comfort of your couch. NBA 2K26 includes the series’ standard suite of online and offline modes, including MyTEAM and MyGM.
The Switch 2 version isn’t as graphically impressive as on other consoles, but it does offer portable play, which is a pretty big advantage. For basketball fans, this is the best deal to get this Black Friday.
Should you buy a Switch 2 this Black Friday?
The Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t discounted for Black Friday, and we weren’t expecting that it would be. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy it. We gave the Switch 2 4.5-stars in our review, and Rory, our Senior Entertainment Editor, dubbed it a “fantastic hybrid console.” He loved the console’s upgraded performance, stunning 7.9-inch display, the redesigned Joy-Cons, and the new ‘Mouse Mode.’
Although I personally don’t own a Switch 2 (yet), I’ve spent many hours testing accessories by playing on our review unit, and I have to say, it’s an amazing upgrade over the OG Switch. I especially adore the Joy-Cons which feel a little more ergonomic than the old ones!
Luckily, Amazon is stocking the Switch 2 right now, but we don’t know how long these stocks will last, so grab your Switch 2 NOW!
In a galaxy far, far away, this game would be pricier than it is right now
Star Wars Outlaws delivers a true Star Wars experience, featuring four total worlds teeming with expansive maps and various side quests for hours of unending fun. Space-based combat and general gunplay are solid with rare moments of stealth. It’s a quintessential outing in a galaxy far, far away. We awarded this game 4-stars in our review.
Star Wars Outlaws is currently 50% off at Amazon, bringing its price down to just $30 — a ridiculously good deal, in my opinion!
My eyes can hardly believe this Zelda Amiibo deal
Black Friday has brought with it discounts on not just Nintendo Switch consoles and games, but on Amiibo figurines too. The Yunobo Amiibo from The Legend of Zelda is currently 67% off at Amazon — so you’re spending just $9!
Is this figurine just a statement piece? Nope. It lets you receive random items in the Breath of the Wild and the Tears of the Kingdom games. All you need to do is tap the figurine against the NFC touchpoint and you’re good to go.
Who needs the Pro Controller when you can grab this one for much, much less?
The Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless is available for $49 at Amazon for Black Friday, making it more of a steal than it was at its retail price. Decked in Mario colors that glow in the dark, the Rematch Wireless is a fantastic gamepad for the Switch family.
Featuring analog thumbsticks and triggers that are highly responsive and motion controls, not only does the Rematch Wireless make games feel more immersive, but it’s extremely comfortable, too. There are also two rear buttons that can be remapped on the fly. This is the controller you get if you enjoy a bit of whimsy as well as power.
The best wired headset for Switch 2? I think so!
When I reviewed the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit for the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Switch, I gave the headset 4.5-stars. Why, you ask? Firstly, even at its retail price, it’s very cheap, so it’s the perfect headset for those on a budget. Second, it sounds great. It creates immersive soundscapes, thanks to the 40mm drivers.
It comes with a flip-to-mute mic that makes you sound loud and clear, and I really like its colorful design, which complements the Switch’s playful nature. This is a budget headset that performs like a premium one! Right now, the Airlite Fit is available for just $22 at Amazon.
A WONDERful deal on one of the best Mario games
Remember I said my partner wasn’t into gaming but she makes a couple exceptions every now and then? Well, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is one of the couch co-op games she loves, so it’s perfect to play with your non-gamer friends and family. Right now, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is down to $50 at Walmart. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this game even at its full price, so there’s no excuse to not score this deal!
We gave the game 4.5-stars in our review, praising its excellent, colorful visuals and characters, ‘Badge’ mechanic that adds a new level of strategy, and ‘Wonder Flowers’ which significantly alter levels, taking you through time and space.
Two Assassin’s Creed games in one, now for less
While the latest Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is on pre-order for the Nintendo Switch 2, you can get your AC fix with this killer deal. Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection is currently down to just $39 at Amazon, and it includes both Black Flag and Rogue!
As someone who has played every single entry in the franchise, I can vouch for the fact that Black Flag is a great game, especially for those who want to sail the seas while taking down Templars. Rogue flips things on its head by making you play as a Templar, and it’s quite an underrated gem.
Stock check! Here’s where you can buy the Nintendo Switch 2
Although not discounted for Black Friday, you can still pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 (or the OG Switch). Not only does it make for a fantastic handheld console for yourself, but it can be a great gift for a loved one too. I’m tracking stocks and looks like a few retailers have the Switch 2 available to buy. =
You can grab the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart bundle for $499 at Amazon, and since it includes the game, you’re saving approximately $30.
One of the best Sonic games is 50% off for Black Friday
Sonic x Shadow Generations is one of the series’ best. Period. This nostalgia-filled serving is exactly what a remastered re-release should be. It includes a remaster of Sonic Generations alongside a brand new game featuring the Blue Blur’s red-eyed nemesis as the protagonist.
In my review, I gave the game 4-stars for its outstanding level design, ‘Doom Powers’ that make Shadow OP, excellent music, callbacks to previous games, and for faithfully remastering a classic. This action platformer is a trippy adventure through time and space, and it feels like a breath of fresh air.
Currently 50% off at Amazon, Sonic x Shadow Generations is an outstanding (and easily loveable) game.
Joy-Cons? On sale? Groundbreaking (no, really!)
Calling all OG Switch owners, the day has come when Joy-Cons are cheaper than their retail price! That’s right: the Neon Purple and Neon Orange Joy-Cons are available for $84 at Amazon, as are the original Neon Red and Neon Blue ones. I’ve been waiting for Joy-Cons to go on sale as I only own two (at the time of writing), and I want to be able to play my favorite co-op games with more people.
Score! EA Sports FC 26 is at its LOWEST-EVER price for Black Friday
I’ve played FIFA — now known as EA Sports FC — for as long as I can remember, and this Black Friday deal on the latest iteration is too good to pass up. EA Sports FC 26 on the Nintendo Switch 2 is currently 57% off at Amazon. That’s a ridiculously good deal, considering this game came out only this year.
In our review, we said that EA Sports FC 26 “delivers one of the biggest gameplay upgrades in years,” and we praised the game for its fantastic gameplay presets, unrivalled authenticity, and fan-requested improvements which have been implemented well. For soccer fans and gamers, this game is a must-have.
The cutest little webcam just got a price cut
Did you know that you can plug a webcam into the Nintendo Switch 2 when you’re playing certain games, like Mario Kart World? You can use the official Nintendo Switch 2 Camera for it… or you can treat yourself to the (very adorable) HORI Piranha Plant Cam, currently down to $36 at Amazon!
I’ll be honest, the Piranha Plant Cam doesn’t have the best or clearest resolution as it’s limited to just 480P, but it’s super cute and makes for a great statement piece. In my review, I couldn’t stop gushing about its lovely design, easy plug-and-play setup, and the fact that it can be used as a regular webcam too. In fact, my Piranha Plant Cam sits atop my monitor at work, keeping a watchful eye.
A compact storage solution for 24 (!) Switch games
Looking for a compact yet sturdy storage solution for your collection of Nintendo Switch games? Amazon Basics’ storage case stores up to 24 games, and it’s down to just $7 at Amazon for Black Friday! I personally own this case so I can vouch for its robust build and compact size. It features handy cartridge holders for easily slipping game cards in and out.
This specific model is compatible with games you can play on the Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED. If you want one for Switch 2 games, check out this case from FYY which holds up to 24 Switch 2 cartridges and features 48 microSD card slots — down to just $7 at Amazon as well.
Overcooked drops in price, and it’s one of the most chaotic (and best) co-op games
My partner isn’t big into gaming, but even she can’t resist a bit of couch co-op gaming — especially Overcooked. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a fantastic couch co-op game for both the Switch and the Switch 2. The goal is simple: you must work together (with up to three other players) to cook and deliver orders on time. Chop, dice, slice and bake, and you’re golden.
But it turns extremely chaotic when you don’t work in tandem, or when the kitchen catches on fire. My partner and I rarely argue, but when we’re playing Overcooked, it’s like all hell breaks loose. It’s awesome. You can experience it for yourself this Black Friday as Overcooked! All You Can Eat is 29% off at Amazon right now!
Is this Sonic karting game better than Mario Kart World?
Hi there! I’m Nikita, a senior reviews writer, and I’m taking over from our How-To Editor to bring you the latest (and greatest) Black Friday Switch 2 deals. If you’re a fan of karting games, it’s worth checking out Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, currently available for just $39 at Amazon. In my review, I said that this game “makes Mario Kart World look like child’s play.”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is an extremely fun, chaotic karting game which presents a bit of a learning curve, and it wins big when it comes to smooth drifting and air tricks that give you significant boosts. Voice acting is a nice touch, and extensive kart and ‘Gadget Plate’ customization means you can strategize in different ways and fine-tune your style. For me, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is the karting game of the year.
Affordable controller with hall effect? Yes Sir
We can’t talk about wireless gaming controllers without pointing to one of our favorites, the GameSir Super Nova Wireless Gaming Controller which we gave 4.5 starts after testing.
The GameSir Super Nova is currently available at Amazon for $39, which is a 33% reduction in it’s usual price. It has hall effect triggers for immersive gaming, and is ergonomic for longer gaming sessions. It also comes with a charging dock that had running RGB. Total win.
Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless Controller at an all-time-low price
As budget controllers go, the Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless is a fantastic gamepad for the Nintendo Switch family. It has analog thumbsticks and triggers that are highly responsive, which creates a more immersive experience for your gaming. It even has motion controls.
Not only does the Rematch Wireless make games feel more immersive, but it’s extremely comfortable, too. I’ve used it for countless games of Mario Kart World and for just $46 at Amazon, the Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless is game changer (and looks great too).
Just Dance 2026 crashes to $25 — perfect for holiday parties
Just Dance 2026 Edition just dropped to $24 at Amazon (50% off), and if you need a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for holiday gatherings, this is it. The game packs 40 hot tracks spanning current hits like “APT.” by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars to classics like Madonna’s “Hung Up.”
Up to 6 players can dance simultaneously in local multiplayer, making it ideal for chaotic family get-togethers. The new Party mode adds unpredictable dance showdowns, while Challenge mode lets competitive relatives battle it out. At half price, this is an easy gift.
Protect your Switch 2 screen for just $12
The Lisen 2-pack screen protector for Switch 2 is down to just $12 at Amazon. It’s the kind of purchase you make once and forget about until it saves you from an expensive repair. At $6 per protector, it’s cheaper than the regret of a scratched screen.
The auto-alignment installation means no bubbles or dust, and the 9H+ tempered glass provides serious protection against drops and scratches.
Triple your Switch 2 storage for $74
The Samsung P9 Express 512GB microSD card is $74 at Amazon (25% off). The Switch 2’s 256GB of internal storage fills up fast — titles like Cyberpunk 2077 demand around 60GB. Doubling your storage capacity means you’re not constantly deleting games to make room.
The Samsung P9 Express handles loading speeds well, so you won’t notice performance drops. At $74, it’s solid value for essentially tripling your Switch 2’s total capacity.
This RGB-lit Switch 2 controller beats Nintendo on price
Planning to dive into multiplayer sessions of Mario Kart or Split Fiction on your Switch 2? The PDP Afterglow Wave controller just dropped to $49, making it a smart alternative to Nintendo’s pricier Pro Controller.
This officially licensed gamepad replicates the Pro Controller’s layout and feel while undercutting it on price. You get all the essential buttons, solid build quality, and comfortable ergonomics for extended play sessions. Plus customizable RGB lighting that cycles through colors and adds some visual flair to your setup.
At $10 off, it’s an easy pickup if you need a second controller for couch co-op or just want a backup.
This Black Friday, the Switch 2 bundle is the smarter buy
Nintendo rarely discounts its latest hardware, that’s just how they operate. But bundles? That’s where the savings hide.
The Mario Kart World Bundle pairs the Switch 2 console with the latest entry in Nintendo’s legendary kart racing series for $499. Buy them separately and you’d pay $529, so you’re pocketing $30 in savings while getting both essentials in one shot.
Mario Kart World is one of the Switch 2’s flagship launch titles, making this bundle a smart move whether you’re buying for yourself or gifting. Stock moves fast on Nintendo bundles, so don’t hesitate if this is on your list.
Where can you snag a Switch 2?
Looking to grab a Nintendo Switch 2 or the original Switch? Stock availability fluctuates during Black Friday, but several major retailers like Amazon Best Buy and GameStop carrying inventory.
If you’re finding the base model selling out fast, consider a bundle instead! You’ll save money anyway. Bundles like the Mario Kart World package save you $30 compared to buying separately, and they tend to stay in stock longer than standalone consoles.
These classics are on sale right now
Sure, Switch 2 launch titles are great, but let’s not forget the treasure trove of incredible games built for the original Switch! Many of which work perfectly on Switch 2 and are discounted for Black Friday at Amazon.
We’re talking heavy-hitters here: the delightfully spooky Luigi’s Mansion 3, the surprisingly brilliant Mario + Rabbids strategy games, and the Super Mario RPG remake. I’ve highlighted five standout picks below that deserve a spot in your library.
Whether you’re new to Switch or just catching up on what you missed, these deals make it the perfect time to dive in.
Black Friday is here!
The Nintendo Switch 2 deals are rolling in fast. While the console itself is retailing at $499, bundles are delivering real savings — up to $20 off when you buy the Switch 2 with a game like Mario Kart World (or Pokémon Legends Z-A during the restock).
Accessories are where the deepest cuts are happening. Screen protectors start at just $6, carrying cases are heavily discounted, and controllers are seeing price drops across the board. Games are also getting significant markdowns, with titles like Star Wars Outlaws ($30, was $59) and Sonic X Shadow Generations ($24, was $49) hitting record lows.
Stay tuned as new deals land.
