Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Igor Tudor has left his role as interim manager by mutual consent after just 44 days in charge.
The Croatian was appointed on February 14 following Thomas Frank’s dismissal.

Tudor’s short spell ended after a difficult run of results in the Premier League. Spurs collected only one league point during his time in charge.
His tenure lasted seven matches across all competitions.
Tottenham confirmed that goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and physical coach Riccardo Ragnacci have both left alongside him.
The club are now working to appoint a new manager in the coming days.
Tottenham hope the new manager will be in place before the majority of the squad return to training after the international break.

That would allow the incoming coach roughly ten days to prepare for their next fixture.
Tottenham’s next match is an away trip to Sunderland on April 12.
Training will be overseen by Tudor’s former assistant Bruno Saltor. He will supervise the small group of players who have remained at the club’s training base during the international break.
Tudor’s final game in charge was a 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest. The loss was Tottenham’s fourth defeat in five Premier League matches.

It left Spurs sitting 17th in the table and only one point above the relegation zone.
Tudor returned to Croatia following the death of his father after the match.
The former Juventus defender had overseen a difficult period for the club.
Tottenham ended a six-game losing run with a draw against Liverpool during his tenure.
They also recorded a victory against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16.
However, that win was not enough to progress after a heavy first-leg defeat in Spain.

Tottenham lost the opening match 5-2 in Madrid after falling 4-0 behind inside the first 22 minutes.
During that game, Tudor substituted goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky after just 17 minutes following two costly errors.
Despite the change, Spurs were unable to recover in the tie.
Tudor is the second Tottenham manager in Premier League history to lose his first three league matches in charge after Martin Jol.
His departure leaves Tottenham searching for their third manager of the season.

Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou last summer. He was dismissed despite leading Spurs to the Europa League title last season.
Tottenham are now assessing several candidates as they attempt to stabilise their season and avoid relegation.
