Fashion Island’s StyleWeekOC returned this year with a bang. Once again, the event was aligned with the Newport Beach Film Festival and ran from Oct. 15 through 19. This year’s star-studded affair started off with a luxury fashion showcase at Neiman Marcus, which benefited CASA of Orange County, a nonprofit that empowers community volunteers to stand up for the future of children in O.C.’s foster care system.
The next evening, a gala aptly named the Taste of Style was hosted in partnership with the film fest and Fashion Island restaurants. A Red Carpet Ready event that included a beauty panel and interactive glam treatments took place on Oct. 17, and the following day, guests attended various panels featuring celebrities such as Penn Badgley and Ashley Park. There were also shopping parties and live fashion performances. The last day of the event included a fragrance masterclass hosted by Creed, and stars Gregg Sulkin and Tyler Blackburn were in attendance. A discussion with “Stranger Things” actor Noah Schnapp capped things off.
