Italy are ready to focus on their rebuild after missing out on qualification for the World Cup, with a friendly match against Greece arranged for June 7th.
It follows a busy day in Italian football as the reverberations from Tuesday’s penalty shootout defeat are still felt: with FIGC President Gabriele Gravina resigning from his role and team CT Gennaro Gattuso reportedly expected to follow.
With fundamental changes taking place within the core, it seems likely that the friendly in June will see a new head coach at the helm, new staff and, in all likelihood, some new players.
But who will still be there against Greece, who will be dropped, who will be handed a debut call-up and who will be in charge?
