Some brilliant deals on 2025’s best PS5 games
If you’re after a game this Black Friday, then there are heaps of deals going, like these bangers on game of the year nominees.
You can get the excellent, and Game of the Year nominated, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at its lowest ever price in the US.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 PS5: now was $59.99 now $29.83 at Walmart
It’s not just the US that’s getting great Black Friday deals, however, as another Game of the Year nominee is on sale in the UK. You can get Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for its lowest price yet.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: was £49.99 now £29 at Currys
Don’t forget the low Portal price
Remember, one of the best PS5 Black Friday deals we’re seeing this sales season is on the PlayStation Portal. It’s a brilliant device and one that can now be a proper standalone game streamer too, following a chunky update the handheld received this month, and you can now get it for a record-low price on both sides of the Atlantic.

My favorite PS5 gaming headset is now heavily discounted
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 is 30% off this Black Friday. It’s the headset I personally use the most, and I find its custom audio profiles for games like Battlefield 6 to be outstanding. Here’s where it’s on offer:
US – SteelSeries Artcis Nova 5: was £$149.99 now $104.99 at Amazon
UK – SteelSeries Artcis Nova 5: was £129.99 now £99.99 at Amazon
Embrace the planar
If you’re after an audio upgrade this Black Friday – and one that might have the PlayStation Portal in mind too – then PlayStation’s own Pulse Explore earbuds are very much worth considering this deals season.
The planar magnetic drivers in these buds are excellent, and they are some of the best audio-givers of any stripe that I’ve ever reviewed. They never leave the side of my Portal now, either.
UK – PlayStation Pulse Explore earbuds: was £199.99 now £149.99 at Argos | Also available at Very
US – PlayStation Pulse Explore earbuds: was $199.99 now $169 at Walmart
Now’s the time to dive into Battlefield 6
Now’s your chance to get in on the Battlefield 6 hype while it’s $52.99 (was $69.99) at Amazon. $11 isn’t a groundbreaking discount, but if you were eyeing the ‘electric multiplayer‘ of the latest Battlefield game anyway, Black Friday brings you some decent savings. Plus, it’s $7 cheaper than the deal you’ll find at Best Buy.
UK shoppers can enjoy a more enticing 30% discount, bringing Battlefield 6 Standard Edition to £48.99 (was £69.99) at Amazon UK.
US – Battlefield 6 Standard Edition: was $69.99 now $59.88 at Walmart
UK – Battlefield 6 Standard Edition: was £69.99 now £48.99 at Amazon UK
Go get a pro Edge
Another UK PS5 Black Friday deal that’s absolutely worth it is EE’s price on the DualSense Edge. It beats other retailers by a few quid and means the value for money here is better than anywhere else.
UK – DualSense Edge (white): was £198 now £147.99 at EE
In the US, the pad is also down to a record low, but no retailers have pushed it any further like EE in the UK yet. Still, a heavily discounted price means the value is very strong indeed here.
US – DualSense Edge (Midnight Black): was $199.99 now $149.99 at Walmart
Right, let’s cut to it – the best PS5 deal in the UK right now
With the US still slumbering, let’s get to the point for those in the UK joining us in order to find the best PS5 price right now.
And even though almost all UK retailers have gone mad and are selling PS5s for less than £300 now, the absolute best price remains at EE, where you can pick one up for just £280 which is crazy.
PS5 Slim Digital Edition: just £280 at EE (was £429)
A slightly leftfield post first…
Before we get to a PS5 deal – I’ve got a banger coming up – remember that you can save a huge amount on other PS5 setup gear today, notably gaming chairs.
Secretlab makes some of our absolute favorite gaming chairs, and is having a huge sale on chairs and desks. Bag one of the best right now to go alongside your new PS5!
Alert! PlayStation Portal 25% off in the US!
I’ve just spotted an absolute barnburner of a deal on the PlayStation Portal over at BJ’s. It takes 25% off the price of the PS5-compatible handheld – the lowest I think I’ve ever seen it drop to in any region. Do not miss this; the deal ends on December 1 according to the website.
PlayStation Portal: was $199.99 now $149.99 at BJ’s
Bundles continue to be discounted at Argos, too

PS5 Digital still in stock at Argos
Argos is still offering the PS5 Digital Edition at an astoundingly low price. If you’re shopping around today, you can pick the console up at the retailer for less than £300.

Save big on DualSense Controllers
Black Friday is underway in the UK, and we’re just a few hours away from it officially being the shopping holiday here on the East Coast of the United States. Still, if you’re after a PlayStation 5 discount – console, accessory, or game – you don’t need to wait.
It’s getting very late here in the UK, so I’m just wrapping things. Never fear, though, as one of my esteemed colleagues will be here in a few hours to take the lead once again.
Another Game of the Year nominee for a lowest-ever price…
This is an absolutely cracking UK PS5 Black Friday deal on what is the best game of 2025 for many.
You can now get Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for less than 30 quid, which is a new lowest-ever price!
The RPG easily takes forty odd hours to beat, so you’re paying well under £1 per hour of entertainment here – you can’t argue with that value!
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: was £49.99 now £29 at Amazon
PS5s are STILL at record lows right now!
Don’t let the flurry of other deals at retailers right now distract from the fact that we’re seeing some downright incredible PS5 discounts over this Black Friday period.
The big one is in the UK, where a PS5 can be had for only £280! That’s just a smidge more than the cost of an Xbox Series S – and I know which one I’d rather have for that money!
There’s a generous price cut in the US too, where you can find the console widely available for roughly $100 off.
PS5 Slim Digital Edition: was $499.99 now $399 at Walmart
PS5 Slim Digital Edition: was £429 now £280 at EE

Time to pick up a PSVR 2?
I’m yet to pick up a PSVR 2, but I think that’ll change this week as Sony’s latest VR headset is now cheaper than ever.
While I was pretty shocked by the eye-watering launch price, which was actually more than a PS5 at the time, I now think the PSVR 2 is well worth it at these new deal prices.
The bundles below throw in Horizon Call of the Mountain too, so you’ve got a great game to play right away.
US – PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle: was $399.99 now $299 at Amazon

Dive into the gritty world of Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is one of my favorite games of last year and a must-have if you’re a fan of the gritty Warhammer universe or just good old-fashioned third-person shooter fun.
It has a fantastic campaign with waves of grim monsters to mow down, plus a wealth of side modes to dive into once the credits role. It can be enjoyed either solo or in co-op, which makes it perfect with friends if you can persuade them to squad up.
There’s also a surprisingly good PvP mode where you fight other players in fast-paced arena matches. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m not ashamed to say I’ve spent a good few hours grinding through the ranks in them.
Right now the cheapest price I can find in the UK is at Argos, while shoppers in the US should head to Amazon for a deal.
Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 (PS5): was $48.53 now $29.99 at Amazon
Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2 (PS5): was £32.99 now £17.99 at Argos
UK – Battlefield 6 Standard Edition: was £69.99 now £48.99 at Amazon UK
Hello everyone, Gaming Editor Dash here to guide you through the Black Friday PS5 deals as they continue in full force!
Death Stranding 2 drops
This isn’t the first time Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has had its price cut, but given it’s so high-profile, and is a Game of the Year award, this is most welcome once again.
US – Death Stranding 2: On the Beach: was $69.99 now $49.97 at Walmart
UK – Death Stranding 2: On the Beach: was £69.99 now £41.99 at Amazon UK
A mega deal on two of the biggest games of the year
If you want to get your hands on two of the absolute biggest PS5 games of the year at record-low prices, then the Amazon Black Friday sale has you covered!
You can secure EA Sports College Football 26 for less than half price right now, which is an absolute steal. There’s also an identical discount on Madden NFL 26, which is a significant 60% off.
Both of these games are the very latest versions of their respective series, with life-like animations and an incredible array of game modes to dive into.
EA Sports College Football 26: was $69.99 now $27.99 at Amazon
Madden NFL 26: was $69.99 now $27.99 at Amazon
Taking it to Elite levels
Much like in the UK, US PS5 shoppers can bag themselves a tasty discounted audio upgrade right now in the deals – and it’s an official one at that.
The excellent PlayStation Pulse Elite headset has got $20 off its list price in the US, and about £30 in the UK, depending on where you look.
US – PlayStation Pulse Elite: was $149.99 now $129 at Amazon
UK – PlayStation Pulse Elite: was £129.99 now £99.99 at Freemans
Low price on PS5 consoles – including a silly UK price
The PS5 itself has come crashing down in price in the US, and you can currently get a cool $100 off the console.
That means the cheapest one is the PS5 Slim Digital Edition, now at $399.
US – PS5 Digital Edition: was $499.99 now $399 at Walmart
But elsewhere, in the UK, we are in plain ridiculous territory.
We knew we’d see massive price cuts on PS5 consoles, but this UK price at (surprise, surprise) EE is wild as the retailer currently has the Digital Edition PS5 down ot just £280! This is crazy.
UK – PS5 Digital Edition: was £429 now £280 at EE
Go Pro for less
The premium pro pad for the PS5, the DualSense Edge, is now also displaying a price cut that we can really get behind. A record-low-equalling price, at that.
US – PS5 DualSense Edge: was $199 now $169 at Walmart
UK – PS5 DualSense Edge: was £198 now £147.99 at EE
PS5 Pro drops to a new low in both US and UK!
One of my top picks out of all this year’s deals is the PS5 Pro dropping by a whole $100 less than its list price.
Admittedly, it did have a price rise, so it’s only 50 bucks less than when it originally launched, which is a little sad, but still, this is a great sale price nonetheless.
US – PS5 Pro: was $749.99 now $649.99 at Walmart
In the UK, the PS5 Pro has dropped by a huge, huge margin with Argos currently offering a staggeringly low price.
UK – PS5 Pro: was £699.99 now £569.99 at Argos
Lowest ever price on the PlayStation Portal!
I had a hunch we would see this, but we’ve got a new lowest-ever price on the PlayStation Portal this Black Friday!
In the US, the best price is, well, at almost any retailer, but Walmart are ol’ reliable, and that mega retailer has it for just $179.
In the UK, EE is currently going past the ‘£20 off’ that Sony declared would happen, so this is an absolutely belting deal.
US – PlayStation Portal: was $199.99 now $179 at Walmart
UK – PlayStation Portal: was £199 now £175 at EE
