Calafiori on Juventus’ wishlist
“[Juventus owner John] Elkann’s clear intention is to restore the Juventus core to the Italian national team, which has been the cornerstone of so many Azzurri successes in the past.
“This clear direction, already evident in recent months in various internal discussions regarding the squad reconstruction, can be a major asset to Italian football now more than ever.
“Calafiori could be the left-footed center-back Juventus have been pursuing for some time [Senesi has already been in talks, as has Rudiger: they remain in the running] and could potentially upset the current balance of power: from Bremer to Gatti, surprise departures shouldn’t be ruled out in the upcoming transfer window.
“Calafiori is currently an option, but further analysis could soon lead to the start of negotiations.”
Konate’s chances of staying a Red ‘strong’
It is looking increasingly likely that Ibrahima Konate will stay at Liverpool even as interest in the Frenchman continues to swell.
Florian Plettenberg is reporting that a new long-term deal for the defender is “already on the table.”
The 26-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and whilst no agreement has been reached in terms of a renewal, the prospect of him leaving seems more and more unlikely.
Talks between Liverpool and Konate began in October 2024 and despite several offers being tabled, they have yet to agree on a deal.
Konate currently earns around £150,000 a week and is seeking an increase to bring him closer to the likes of Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah as the club’s top earners.
Plettenberg added that concrete interest from top clubs exists, and should Konate’s contract run out on June 30, he will become one of the sport’s most valuable free agents.
Tonali agent confirms Premier League interest
The Italy star’s agent, Beppe Riso, spoke to reporters about the 25-year-old’s future and was asked if he is being targeted by other clubs.
”Exactly, this was the target. Obviously, he’s on their target. He’s doing really well,” the midfielder’s agent said.
”This was the target and the vision when we made the decision [to move to Newcastle]. Make Sandro become a stellar player. The most valuable Italian player.”
Tonali’s contract at St. James’ Park runs out in June 2028.

Hojbjerg in line for move to Serie A giants
Juventus, Internazionale, and Roma are all reportedly hoping to sign the 30-year-old midfielder during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Hojbjerg is under contract with Marseille until 2028, but could leave the Ligue 1 club for around €12 million, freeing the club of one of their highest earners.
The Dane has started 33 matches for the French side this season and has proven to be a big asset for the club, contributing three goals and four assists.
