The Kentucky Department of Education is hosting a Day of Science Learning for Community Based Educators on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET at the Kentucky Science Center in Louisville.
The event is mainly for organizations who provide science learning experiences for students outside the classroom. Attendees will learn about high-quality instructional resources for science, the Kentucky Academic Standards for Science and how to connect students to real-world learning.
Attendees can network with community partners, educators and advocates committed to advancing science education as they explore meaningful ways to explore high-quality science education.
Those interested can learn more and register by filling out the Day of Science Learning for Community-Based Educators registration form by April 27.
