All-time points scored, number five KD, number six Michael Jordan.
Ah, yet again, a little bit higher up the list, and it gets us to a conversation about KD particularly, for all of his greatness, trying to figure out where he sort of falls in the lexicon of NBA players, Callie, because this is what gets really difficult.
The simple question is, is KD gonna be a top 10 player of all time?
We’re talking about a player that even though the Rockets lost last night, again, went off, was really He was amazing, as KD consistently is.
I said on this show last week that I’m not sure he moves the needle at the same level.

It doesn’t mean he’s any less great.
When you talk about number five in points scored, 32,294, you talk about being above MJ.
Is, at this point, there a clear path in your mind to making KD one of the top 10 of all time in the NBA?
I, I do think that part of being considered top 10 all time i- also you have to keep in mind impact and measure of impact on the game.
And so when I think about the most impactful players who have ever played the game of basketball, the, the players that come to mind for me are Michael Jordan and LeBron James and Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain.
I don’t know if KD has made the same level of impact right now to warrant, you know, being in the history books and, and honored forever as one of the 10 greatest players to ever play this sport.

Because if we wanna talk about the most impactful players right now, is KD in the top three of players right now?
So even though KD might have the numbers to be considered a top 10 player of all time, when we’re all doing this at the water cooler or sharing a couple of cold pops with our friends and we’re going through our top tens, does KD is KD a unanimous pick?
‘Cause there are players that are unanimous picks, and we all know them.
I don’t think KD would be considered a top 10 for everyone
