King Charles Fashion Week Outing

King Charles III is not letting anything get in the way of his duty to serve.

Just hours after his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, was arrested, the 77-year-old made an appearance at London Fashion Week Feb. 19, sitting front row at Tolu Coker’s show at NewGen Space at 180 Strand.

For his excursion, the king sported one of his iconic loosely tailored gray suits, along with a blue and white pinstripe button down, a cream and blue patterned tie and a pink and blue polka dot pocket square. He maintained a friendly demeanor as he greeted his fellow guests and watched the show—which featured Coker’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection—with an attentive eye.

The designer, for her part, had no idea the king would be in attendance when she set out to craft her latest collection.

“It kind of feels like divine alignment,” she told Vogue Business after the show. “I think there’s something very beautiful and powerful to be able to invite the King of England to our block. It’s a big statement of: this is London in all its color, beauty, and glory.”
