MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee’s newest music venue “Landmark Credit Union Live” celebrated its grand opening in the Deer District Wednesday night.

The venue seats 4,500, and features custom artwork, an exclusive lounge called the ‘Vinyl Room,’ an open-air terrace, a chef-curated menu, the “TYME” photo booth, and both seated and standing room for concert-goers.

“We built Landmark Credit Union Live to be a place where fans can truly lose themselves in the music and have an unforgettable night out,” says Regional Vice President of Operations for Live Nation Andrew Newport.
Wednesday’s grand opening featured performances from Vinyl Department, DJ Lukewarm, The Steph Lippert Project and Chicken Wire Empire.

“I think it’s impressive. I think the space is well thought out, and the sound is excellent,” says community-event attendee Jeff from Milwaukee. “I hope it draws more bands here. I know Milwaukee’s got a lot of great venues, but I hope this one puts us on the map for mid-sized touring.”

The venue anticipates 70 events each year, with additional private events.

Landmark Credit Union Live will host its first touring group, alternative rock band ‘Rainbow Kitten Surprise,’ this Friday, February 27.
