LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -The Lansing Symphony Orchestra says it has narrowed down the search for its next music director to five finalists.
They are Scott Seaton, Yue Bao, Joshua Green, Shizuo Kuwahara and James Blachly.
The finalists will be invited for a week-long visit in Lansing that will include rehearsals and concerts. The orchestra will collect feedback from the community and audiences before making its final decision.
The orchestra is expected to name its next music director in the summer of 2027.
