This week, Nintendo Switch 2 received what was its biggest system update so far. There was a good amount added and improved, but the most significant feature was the inclusion of Handheld Mode Boost. When turned on, it forces Nintendo Switch 1 games to be played as if they were docked when playing portably. If you’re primarily a handheld player, this is a significant feature as it can give you a better image on-screen.
Have you gotten around to trying out the Handheld Mode Boost on Nintendo Switch 2? Which games have you tested? Let us know in the comments.

What am I playing right now? Ys X Proud Nordics.
It’s one of the only two Game Key Cards I have in my physical collection. The goodies won me over. I have to say, I like how the requisite raids that have been introduced into the series since Ys 8 are offensive instead of defensive and you’re not graded on them so you can be more free form with them.
Edit: Spoke too soon. They DO have graded raids. At least they have mechanics that allow you to skip the tedious parts.

Kinda all over the place, still playing re9 and just started monster hunter stories on switch 2 then this 1st person dungeon crawler called undernauts on series X. Also about halfway through marvel ultimate alliance on the original Xbox

Legeds Z-A really brought me back to pokemon. I didn’t play a single pokemon game on the Switch, but I decided to get Legends because of Kalos and oh boy…
I finished LeafGreen last week.
Turns out most of my memories from the game were actually from Emerald, so Kanto felt really fresh to me.
Playing without Exp. Share was awesome and I really hope we can turn it off on the next game. It won’t happen, I know, but still…
I’m playing Pokopia right now.
Finished the main campaign yesterday but I’m still having fun trying to bring some Pokemon into my world and thinking about making homes for them.
I say thinking because I have the creativity of a brainless dog, so must of them still live in the grass or in some… square place.
My soon-to-play list is currently like this:
– Pokemon Legends Arceus
– Pokemon Colloseum
– Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
Will probably add some DK in the middle, but yeah, I’m all with pokemon for a while.

Got tired of Hades 2. Started playing SHining Ressonance Refrain, wich is mediocre.
Also playing Saints Row III, and I finally understand why people love the series so much, previously I only played 4.

Jumped back into Rise/Sunbreak. Currently only have the Primordial Malzeno and the Risen monsters left to fight and just a few more hammers to craft to get all the hammers. Then I’ll jump into Qurious Crafting and see what busted armor builds I can make. Hoping Wilds comes to S2.
