Lisa Academy West Middle School science team heading to national tournament
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Students at LISA Academy West Middle School will soon be headed to Hollywood.
The school’s Science Olympiad team recently won the state championship, which earns them the opportunity to represent Arkansas at the Science Olympiad National Tournament in May.
The competition, which is being hosted this year at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, brings together the top middle and high school Science Olympiad teams from across the country to compete in a variety of science and engineering challenges.
