Lynn University’s Annual Fashion Showcase Goes Xtreme

Global fashion leader Albania Rosario partners to deliver electrifying skate culture theme

Boca Raton, FL – February 20, 2026 — Lynn University’s signature fashion event, the Lynn Fashion Showcase (LFS) will partner with Albania Rosario, founder and CEO of Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA) to deliver this year’s theme: LFS Xtreme. The show will blend student creativity and skate culture.

Rosario serves as the 2026 LFS producer and brings global industry expertise through her work with platforms such as Vogue, Forbes and international fashion weeks. LFS Xtreme celebrates the evolution of fashion through student experiential learning, global collaboration and sustainability.

“LFS is experiential learning at its best and having someone like Albania involved elevates the entire experience for our students,” said Katrina Carter-Tellison, vice president of academic affairs and executive producer of LFS. “She shows them how the industry operates from backstage logistics to working directly with international designers and professionals.”

What began more than two decades ago has now grown into one of Lynn’s most anticipated annual events. Over the past five years, LFS expanded dramatically, most recently engaging more than 300 students, over 30 sponsors, several featured designers and a growing audience exceeding 500 attendees. The growth has strengthened Lynn’s fashion program and led to the creation of a fashion design minor.

“We are incredibly proud of the sense of community that surrounds the Lynn Fashion Showcase,” said Carter-Tellison. “What makes LFS so special is seeing students from across disciplines come together, take ownership of the experience and create something meaningful together.”

Thanks to a collaboration between Lynn’s College of Business and Management and the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn College of Communication and Design, the showcase brings together students from fashion and retail, communication and design, photography, hospitality management, business and the arts.

As in previous years, sustainability will remain at the forefront of LFS Xtreme, featuring repurposed skateboards incorporated into the runway design to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The event will also feature a student-led sticker design competition, an interactive graffiti wall and collaborations with local skate icons Andrew and SkateFree.org.

The Lynn Fashion Showcase takes place Feb. 27 with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and show at 7 p.m. in the Christine E. Lynn University Center. It is an invitation-only event and not open to the public.
