The Macau government collected gaming taxes of MOP$94.9 billion (US$11.8 billion) in FY25, representing a 7.6% increase over the prior year according to information from the Financial Services Bureau.

Based on latest information, gaming tax collection is also looking strong in 2026 with the government taking in MOP$16.9 billion (US$2.1 billion) in the first two months of the year combined – already reaching 18.3% of the government’s budgeted MOP$92.5 billion (US$11.5 billion).

This accounts for 90.7% of all government revenues through January and February 2026.
