Greece, N.Y. — The Mall at Greece had its strongest Black Friday in at least five years, it announced in a release Wednesday.
The mall said traffic rose 20-23% compared to 2021-2024.
The addition of a massive Boscov’s department store in late October has drawn large crowds to the mall.
The mall said it has a 92% leasable occupancy rate. Other new tenants added in the last year include Hot Pot 585, Apple Cinemas, Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, Charlotte Russe, and the Monroe County Office for the Aging and Veterans Service Agency.

The new additions and enhanced safety measures have fueled the recent growth, the mall said.
“Shoppers are returning in large numbers, and the energy at Greece Ridge has been tremendous,” general manager Jay Wilmot said in a statement. “Our new retailers have driven real momentum this year, and we’re seeing families and young adults fully embracing the holiday season at our property.”
