United hold talks with Mendes for Adeyemi

Manchester United are among the clubs that have held talks with Karim Adeyemi’s agent, Jorge Mendes, according to Sky Sport Germany.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has scored three goals in 13 appearances in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League this term.
The German giants are currently third in the Bundesliga table, seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich, while The Red Devils are seventh in the Premier League.

Sky Sport Germany says that Mendes is talking to several clubs about the 23-year-old’s future.

“What’s next for the striker?,” reads the article.

“Currently, there’s no movement, negotiations have stalled.

“Adeyemi’s new agent, Jorge Mendes, is in talks with clubs, including Premier League giants Manchester United.

“However, rumours that Adeyemi has decided to leave are unfounded.”

Milan target Fullkrug

AC Milan are reportedly eager to complete a deal for German striker Niclas Fullkrug after a difficult start to the season with West Ham.

Fullkrug arrived in east London in 2024 with a big reputation after a successful spell with Borussia Dortmund and a fine showing at UEFA Euro 2024.

However, he is yet to score in six Premier League appearances this term, and could now be on his way out of England.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that AC Milan could try and capitalise on the situation by bringing the 32-year-old to the San Siro.

“The Rossoneri management, prompted by calls from their agents, are already considering a possible option,” reads the article.

“It corresponds to the name of Niclas Fullkrug, a 189cm German centre-forward currently playing for West Ham.

“Linked to AC Milan as early as the summer of 2024, the former Borussia Dortmund player preferred to try his hand at the Premier League.”

Besiktas go after Ter Stegen

Spanish outlet Fichajes are reporting that Barcelona have received an offer from Besiktas to take German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen on loan for the rest of the season.

They believe that the 33-year-old is eager for first-team football in order to ensure that he is part of Germany’s squad for next summer’s FIFA World Cup.

Ter Stegen is yet to feature for Barcelona this season after suffering a back injury, but he returned to training at the end of last month.

Fichajes reports that the loan move would include an option to buy the goalkeeper for €8 million in the summer.

“The German goalkeeper, one of FC Barcelona’s captains, faces a winter transfer window that could redefine his immediate future and, perhaps, the fate of the Blaugrana goal.

“With the transfer window just around the corner, the first serious move has arrived.

“Besiktas have submitted a formal offer to acquire him on loan, assuming his salary until June and proposing a purchase option of around €8 million.”

United & Dortmund battle for Swedish prodigy

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are both interested in signing 16-year-old AIK Fotboll striker Kevin Filling, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Swedish prodigy has scored two goals in nine appearances in the Allsvenskan this term, and is now attracting interest from across Europe.

Plettenberg says that the striker could leave Swedish football as early as the January transfer window.

“Borussia Dortmund are now in the race for Kevin Filling. Sebastian Kehl wants the 16 y/o striker gem,” Plettenberg wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Manchester United are still pushing to sign Filling, but no agreement has been reached with any club yet.

“Filling could leave AIK as early as this winter.”
